The Hotel Goldenes Schwert on Marktgasse 14, and the Guesthouse on Spitalgasse 3 are centrally located and within a short walking distance from the main train station, or the famous  “Bahnhofstrasse”, with it’s many boutiques and department stores. The lake and it’s beaches are as close as the many bars, restaurants and night clubs the city has to offer.

you travel by train

Once you arrive at Zurich HB (main train station) you can take Tram Number 4 for 3 stops, to “Rathaus” (in the direction of „Tiefenbrunnen“). From there you simply walk up into the old town (between Credit Suisse Bank/Adidas Originals Store), we are less than a minute away.

you travel by plane

The International Zurich Airport is located approx. 12 km outside of the city center (and us). At the Airport you can take one of the many trains that leave every few minutes to the main train station („Zürich HB“), or use the Airport/Glattalbahn tramway No. 10 (which will also get to the train station). Also, there’s the option of a Taxi, which will drop you right in front of our door. Depending on traffic, a Taxi will cost you around CHF 60.00.

Guests with a reservation for a parking space in our main building may contact our reception for a detailed explanation of how to get here (or search for “Leuengasse” on Google Maps, etc.) Please note that we are located in the historical part of the Old town (one way streets, narrow passages)
